In 2020, SPACE welcomes parents with children who are 3-12 years of age to apply.

If you are a two-parent/guardian household, we encourage one parent/guardian to apply for The Family Residency. In the instance that both parents/guardians wish to apply, please know that while we have hosted two-parent/guardian households previously, it is possible that only one of you will be accepted. Please refrain from applying if you would not be able to participate if only one parent/guardian were offered the residency.

If you have questions about the residency or the application, please email us at residencies@spaceonryderfarm.org.

ELIGIBILITY

  • The parent applying for The Family Residency must be at least 18 years old, and the child(ren) who will be in residence must be 3-12 years old.
  • SPACE’s Family Residency program accepts applications from artists of nearly all stripes, social justice activists, thinkers and community organizers. At this time, SPACE’s facilities are unable to support dancers. To make sure SPACE will be able to support your project, please take a moment to read about the workspaces available at SPACE. If you have further questions, email us prior to applying at residencies@spaceonryderfarm.org.
  • Prospective residents may only apply for one program in a season. Additionally, while former Family Residency participants are not eligible to reapply for The Family Residency, they are encouraged to apply to SPACE’s other programs.
